What STEAM means for your child
Science
Hands-on experiments, inquiry, observation, and the scientific method — curiosity as a skill.
Technology
From screen-free coding tools to block-based programming and introductory Python.
Engineering
Design-build-test cycles using the engineering process applied every session.
Art & Design
Creative design thinking that makes projects communicate, not just function.
Mathematics
Applied maths through measurement, data, patterns, and real-context problem-solving.
Robotics
Physical builds that respond to real instructions — making code tangible and rewarding.
Three age pathways
Explorers Ages 5–7
Screen-free foundations
Physical coding tools, simple science experiments, and engineering challenges using recycled and natural materials.
No screens required
Builders Ages 7–10
Code, build, investigate
Visual block coding (Scratch, Code.org), introductory robotics with mBot, and full scientific method investigations.
Make code tangible
Innovators Ages 10–12
Design, program, present
Introduction to Python, advanced robotics, and multi-week real-world design challenges. Every project ends with a visual presentation.
Communication is half the skill
How sessions are structured
Warm-up
Brief & brainstorm
A short challenge brief or group warm-up orients children to the session's problem before hands-on work begins.
Core block
Build, code, or investigate
The heart of every session. Children design, build, code, or experiment — guided using the engineering design process.
Failure = data, not defeat
Reflect
Test, share & improve
Children test their builds or findings, share with the group, and identify what they'd change next time.
Skills children build
Logical and computational thinking
Problem-solving through the engineering design process
Scientific inquiry, observation, and data literacy
Coding and digital skills — from screen-free to Python
Creative and design thinking
Resilience and growth mindset — learning from failure
Presentation and communication skills
Teamwork and peer-to-peer collaboration
